The Week That Was.

Dear Reader,

Who am I? Two posts in a month, unheard of…

Let’s just hope that this time it sticks – consistency, drive and no life “noise”.

So, to talk about the week that was.

This week we took a turn for the better hopefully.

It started with a change in routine, I know here I am rebelling internally about monotony, and I was stuck. Stuck in trying to make everything work and having nothing work.

And how does the saying go? You can’t keep doing the same things and expecting the same results.. so we did something different.

We started with some healthy food; I say healthy – I cooked for myself. And not just one meal, I meal prepped and used my Thermomix – which if you know, you know am I right?

It isn’t that I don’t regularly eat healthy food, more that in the past few months eating consistently with purpose has been challenging. I haven’t been fueling my body per say, just surviving with whatever came my way. I am not stranger to a frozen meal, but I did it. And more importantly I stuck with it.

I also got my steps in.. again shouldn’t be a chore but with the new job and with the chaos that has been my life the last ten months, it hasn’t been easy to do things for myself. But I did it, and for once I got some good results!

So we come here, with the intention that this week is more of the same. More consistency, more healthy habits and maybe a little less stress.

We do have a summer to prepare for….
